A Great House in A Great Location!

We stayed for a week during spring break. The home was very clean with fresh paint and good furnishings. We had a few very minor maintenance issues that were taken care of quickly. The home is directly across the street from the beach entrance and as close to the beach as you can get without actually being beach front. The only negative is noise. This is located on a very busy corner with activity day and night. We knew this when we made the reservation so expected it. A small trade off for the convenience.

The location could not be beat being right across the street to the Beach Entrance and central to all of Destin. Property was very clean upon arrival and the management company very responsive and friendly to an AC issue that we experienced. General Maintenance Condition of the house was acceptable but is in need of an interior painting especially in the dated bathrooms. We would book again!

If you’re looking for a place that feels like home, this is it! Hector & William are great. Very professional and they truly care about your stay and making everything perfect.
This home is perfect size, everything you need is there. Kitchen is stocked with everything but food. Rooms have all the needed amenities. Located directly across from the beach. I could go on and on. Worth every penny spent. We will definitely be back. We’ve been to Destin several times and this property has been the best. Perfect in every way!

This was our 4th straight Frangista Beach vacation. The Southern Comfort property was awesome! The house is spacious and well maintained. We drank our coffee every morning and our libations every evening on the balcony porch. It is directly across the street from the private beach access. There is not a better non-beach property location in Miramar Beach! The only drawback would be the limited parking area. We wholeheartedly would recommend this property. Frangista Beach Properties is the best. We’ve already booked next years vacation. We stay at a different house every year and have never been disappointed.

We have rented this house 3 or 4 times, always clean, always a great stay. We have never had any problems whatsoever. The home is very convenient to the beach, restaurants and stores, and all activities. This really is the best house in Mirimar Beach in our opinion. Also, Hector and everyone at Frangista Beach Properties are always very helpful, and they make sure you have everything you need for a awesome vacation. We will continue to use them, and we will continue to rent this home.

Frangista Beach Properties was a breeze to work with. Of course I didn't have to communicate with them after paying for the rental because...
The house was amazing. Spotless, and exactly as advertised. The upper balcony was our favorite spot to relax at night, thanks to amazing views of the beach and surrounding neighborhood.
Speaking of the beach, the access gate is directly across the street, maybe 100 feet from the front door of the house. You can see that quite clearly using Google Maps. The only way to stay any closer to the beach would be to rent a home with direct beach access, but most of those homes aren't as impressive as Southern Comfort.
My wife and I took 5 children there, ages 9-17. There was plenty of room for all. The pool is small, just big enough to lounge around in, not that it matters when the gulf is steps away.
Overall, I can't recommend this property enough. I will definitely return as soon as the opportunity arises.

The location of Southern Comfort was just as described, a few steps and you are on the beach!! We had 8 adults, 6 children and we all had plenty of space. The house was in great shape, the a/c kept us comfortable, plenty of beach towels, a water hose out back to wash sandy feet & flip flops off. We had a great time at Southern Comfort.

There were 12 of us, 4 under 3 years old, and it more than met our needs. The gulf is literally 50 yards away. The pool was very nice. It is a good location for walking , bike riding, and close to stores when you need them. Would highly recommend !

Grandparents, children, and grandchildren all experienced a wonderful time at the beach. Golf clubs left a home with the entire stay focused on family. About a hundred yards equadistant to the beach and the community pool, everyone was very happy. We hope to go back later this year and in 2018 as well.

Had all 3 of our grown kids and daughter-in-law and 1 grandchild with us on this week of vacation.
the location was perfect for us, with all the needs of a little one. We had great conversation over our morning coffee on the front porch,along with many dinners on the second level porch, for great privacy and to be able to enjoy the weather. We got to stay inand enjoy making our own dinners together, because f all the room in the kitchen. Really got to enjoy family!!

We had 7 adults and 6 kids staying in this house for Thanksgiving and we were very comfortable. It is a beautiful home in a great location. The beach is just steps away and the community pool is just as close and heated. The staff is very friendly and very helpful when needed. I would recommend this house to a large group who wants to be close to everything that Destin has to offer.

Family get-a-way for a Beach Wedding

We rented two properties for our daughter's beach wedding. One house on the beachfront and a second directly across the street. Frangista Beach Properties personnel made everything flow smoothly from showing us the very first house through the end of our stay. The properties were clean and neat upon arrival and we were granted access on time. There was an issue with the one property's internet and a Frangista technician never wavered in getting this issue resolved for us. Our stay was as close to perfect as could be and we look forward to coming back in the future to sit back and relax on Frangista's beautiful beaches. Special shout out to Hector and Jeremiah who guided our stay start to finish.

The Southern Comfort home was such an amazing fit for our family. The location could not be better. Walk across the street and you are on the beach. The pool is very close the opposite direction. The home was very clean and had a great kitchen we enjoyed very much. Customer service with Frangista is the best. They are so accomodating and fixed a couple little issues immediately. I would highly recommend this property - there is a lot of bang for your buck on this house compared to other homes we researched. We all work out so the trail in front of the house was our morning workout. Pompano Joes was a short walk and then you didn't have to worry about parking. The beach is the cleanest and most pure sand you will find anywhere. You can not take your own canope tents but you can set up small beach umbrellas. We love this area and come back as often as we can. Now my granddaughter has played on the white beaches of the Emerald Coast and she wants to come back. The master bedroom in this home is unbelievable. The home is beautifully furnished and we loved everything about it.

This house and the management company are great! Every interaction with Frangista Properties management was quick and professional. The house is very nice and is just as described and represented in the rental listing. The biggest draw for this house is the location. It sits directly across the street from the beautiful beach and the access to the beach, so it is a very short walk to get to the beach. It is the closest you will get to beach front without the much higher prices of beach front, and the house is very nice, updated, and decorated well. This neighborhood location is also great because the beaches are less crowded and you are close to lots of stores and restaurants. The only thing we wish we could have had is a pool, but we knew there was no pool going into it. This is a great place with an even better location. We really enjoyed our week there. Thank you

We love Southern Comfort and its location to the beach! This was the third year we rented the house. The front porch is wonderful! The back deck area is perfect for hosing off after the beach and for storing beach paraphernalia. The open floor plan LR, DR, and KT are very nice for family meals. The 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms work well for us. We had 7 adults, 3 young children, and a baby this year.
We would like to see recycling possibilities available.

We had a wonderful family reunion in May at this lovely home right across the street from the beach. The rooms were very nice and the kitchen was well stocked with pot, pans, utensils, wine opener, etc. We had 10 adults and two babies and we never felt like we were on top of one another. Plenty of space to sit indoors and out. We spent lots of time at the beach. Would definitely come back again.

We have been coming to Destin for family vacations for the past five years and this year was fantastic. Not only was the weather and the beach absolutely beautiful, but our accommodations were superb. Southern Comfort was a beautiful home in the perfect location -right across from the beach! 4 families stayed in Southern Comfort and were pleased with the stay. Property was as described other than did not see pictures of the downstairs bedroom and bathroom which were small but doable. The property was very clean. We would definitely recommend this property. Had a couple of maintenance issues that were handled promptly. The weather and water were as perfect as we have ever seen it. Ate at some wonderful restaurants: Pompano Joes, Dewey Destin, McGuires, Stinky's, Red Bar, and even ordered fantastic pizza from Jerardo's (don't order as much as you would normally, they are huge!). Can't wait to come back again next year!!!!!

The upstairs A/C unit went out upon our Saturday arrival, and was replaced by Monday noon ! The management team and support team were beyond incredible. The lighting could be improved in the first floor bedroom and the main floor television is a bit complicated to use. MINOR issues when compared to a gorgeous home in the perfect setting ! We look forward to a return visit !

Southern Comfort was wonderful for two families. The location was prefect. We had access to a heated pool whuch was needed since it was cooler than usual for our trip. Property management group was very friendly and accommodating to address any questions and issues. Highly recommend this house. Could have been cleaned a little better but we told the property manager and he was going to address with cleaning.
