Our Favorite Spring Flings In Destin, Florida

Springtime is a great time to visit the beaches of Destin, Florida. The weather is perfect for spending the day on powder white sand and the emerald-green waters are just the right temperature. When the sun goes down there’s a cool breeze in the air inviting you to stay outdoors. That’s when you can check out some of our favorite spring flings in Destin.

Rock the Docks takes place at HarborWalk Village every Saturday night from 8:00-10:00pm beginning March 19^th through April 16^th. This favorite Destin venue features a variety of restaurants, activities, and outdoor spring concerts along the beautiful harbor. When you head off the beach you can head on down to HarborWalk to enjoy the freshest of seafood as well as tunes from talented local and regional artists!

The Sandestin Wine Festival takes place at The Village of Baytowne Wharf on April 7^th-10^th. The main event, known as the Grand Wine Tastings, takes place on Saturday. For wine lovers this is a must to experience at least once if not every year! Showcasing more than 500 domestic and international wines, guests will have the opportunity to not only taste but talk to vineyard owners and winemakers while perhaps trying something new. Some of the best chefs in Destin will be treating guests to gourmet appetizers that go perfectly with your glass of choice. Don’t forget to stop off at the champagne tent filled with bubbles and sweet treats. Pair all of this with live music to make it our favorite festival in spring!

The Concerts in the Village series at the Mattie Kelly Cultural Arts Village takes place every Thursday night at 7:00pm, April 21^st-June 23^rd. We love this concert series not only for the amazing talent it presents every year but for the venue. The big plush lawn is perfect for a picnic in the park, under the stars, with incredible tunes. Bring your favorite bottle of wine or craft beer, some delicious snacks, and a blanket or beach chair. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the show!
