5 Fun Things to do on a Rainy Day in Destin!

Planning a trip to Destin, Florida but not sure about the weather? Destin averages mostly sunny days but if you happen to be here on a rainy one no worries. Destin History and Fishing Museum

This quaint little museum is full of the history of Destin and journey from a small fishing village to a major tourist attraction. If the photographs, artifacts, and fishing equipment do not catch your eye the over 75 mounts of locally caught fish surely will! Learn the science of why the local fishing is so good giving Destin the title of “World’s Luckiest Fishing Village” as well as why the sand is so powder white. You can tour on your own or be guided by knowledgeable local staff. It’s a wonderful way to spend a rainy afternoon.

Destin Brewery

This cozy little brewery brews up some big flavors with a “Cheers” vibe. Some favorites are Mango Habanero IPA, Blood Orange Blonde Ale, Blueberry Pomegranate Sour, and Hole’ Mole’ Stout. Stop in for a flight and taste a little bit of everything. The staff is super friendly as well as the patrons making you feel right at home. Sipping on a craft beer where everybody knows your name, now that’s the way to wait for the rain to go away!

The Spa at Emerald Grande

When the rain pours it’s time to get pampered with a day at the spa! The Spa at Emerald Grande is the perfect place to sit back and enjoy a little bit of me time.
